We are encouraged to humble ourselves, not be pumped up with pride in “our accomplishments” but to give credit where it is due, to the One who gave it.
Today’s chapter is a lot about trut: who to trust, rusting in things or the one who made them, who always was and is, as well as what it takes to make a good marriage, and what “death to self” means.
Today we talk about true meanings of words, things like clapping hands and having true joy, lessons from The Karate Kid, and what the relationship of Masters and Slaves was and wasn’t created to be, through Biblical examples.
