In today’s chapter, the Psalmist stresses to not be too busy for God. How life should be a continual growing and staying close to Him.
We talk about knowing his name, and how in Him is a home for the lonely, breaking chains, and being set free.

It’s been a while, but we are back, and continuing through our study of the Psalms.
Today’s Psalm talks about making and breaking vows, and the seriousness of making a commitment and keeping your word, and advises us to not make rash decisions, but thoughtful ones.
We also talk on the Biblical New Year that is now here, and the importance of being on God’s time.

Today’s Psalm encourages us to have the Fear of God and not fear of man, to not care what others think of us. That God is love and who goes ahead of us, and that no matter what persecution we may be going through, is there guiding our way and giving us hope.

Today’s Psalm is on the subject of the foolishness of trusting in riches, but also trusting in strength, superheroes, or whatever it be, if it is not God. We are encouraged to humble ourselves, not be pumped up with pride in “our accomplishments” but to give credit where it is due, to the One who gave it.

Today’s Psalm is about Israel, the natural branches, coming back in unbelief, not boasting against them, and remembering that “God will take the ungodliness from Jacob.” We also talk about the admonition to learn patience, to have Hope and not depression, and what God calls for to be able to remove the spirit of depression.

Today’s chapter is all about waiting on God and trusting in him, and a reminder that he is all knowing… God doesn’t have a memory problem!

“Covering a lot of ground” (as always), today we talk about the generations and how each is clean in their own eyes. How Messiah said that unless He wash us we have no part in Him, and what it takes to truly be clean.

Today as we read through the Psalm, we will discuss the fool’s disbelief in God, the big bang theory, and honoring and having faith in God.

In today’s Psalm, we will discuss the hardships of David and his attitude through them towards the Father. We will also touch on how although God did not allow Abraham to sacrifice his son, he sent his own son to the world to be a sacrifice for us and take on the sin of the world.
