In this longer chapter, we go over a lot of ground, talking about health, including what the Bible says about our kidneys, heavy metals in our environment and how they affect us, vitamins and minerals, and how the blood is the life of the body. God knows our hearts better than we do, how he is the one we are called to follow. And lastly, the importance of Israel, not fighting against them, antisemitism today, and dividing up God’s land and the consequences of that.
Today we finish Ecclesiastes…. we talk about having courage, and not a fear of man. How dust returns to dust, but the spirit returns to the one who gave it.
In the end, the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and Follow His Commands.
Today’s chapter brings up some thoughts about Moses being drawn from the water, encourages you to not have ‘all your eggs in one basket’, talks about nature, clouds and rain, and finally, admonishes us to rejoice in all things.
Finishing up the chapter was a quick run through, and talking about how to live joyfully with your wife, needing God on your side and waiting for the right place and right time.
Today’s chapter is about joining Messiah in a marriage covenant, being his bride, having eternal life. Our bodies may die, but your spirit is alive forever, and where you go depends on who you are living for and counting on for salvation.
In today’s chapter, we touch on the recent Executive orders, rulers of this present world, and making fun/mocking at them, how laughter/comedy can be used to replace the joy of God, and having a Fear of God.
