Today’s Psalm is about keeping our vows and the Covenant we make with God. How no matter who we are, male or female, when we enter into a relationship with God we become a part of His bride and His helpmeet, and the high calling it is to have a relationship with the Rock that is Higher than us all.

Today we begin Psalm 44, by talking about God’s power and might, not taking glory for ourselves, the, once again, rising persecution for Jews and antisemitism, and an admonition to be true to God and his Covenant, and acknowledging out need for Him.
Today’s chapter covers a lot of ground, including covenant breakers, knowing what they are getting into in the first place, helping people but knowing when to say no, the sleep of a laborer, delegating work but keeping yourself busy, and sharing, not being selfish.
In today’s chapter, we will hear of the golden calf that the Children of Israel worship, and God and Moses’ responses.
