Germany saw 2,480 antisemitic incidents in 2022, monitoring group says

A group tracking antisemitism in Germany said Tuesday that it documented 2,480 incidents in the country last year — just under seven incidents per day on average.

US Plans Action Against Prigozhin’s Wagner for Activities in Africa

The United States will this week announce actions to hold the Russian mercenary Wagner Group accountable, the U.S. State Department spokesperson said on Tuesday, for its activities in Africa and unrelated to its aborted mutiny in Russia.

Russia’s Weakened Putin Thanks Troops For Preventing Civil War After Mutiny (Worthy News Radio)

Moscow says preparations are underway for the Wagner mercenary group to hand over its heavy military hardware following Saturday’s failed rebellion. The move came after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he would abandon Wagner and thanked his troops for preventing civil war.

Web of biblical cities depicts King David as major ruler, says Israeli archaeologist

A network of fortified cities around Jerusalem has been dated to the time of King David, more than 200 years earlier than previously thought, offering support to the theory that King David ruled over a complex and large kingdom. The proof, however, wasn’t freshly excavated from the earth, but rather came to light after an archaeologist spent years digging through old archaeological publications.

‘Iran is already in the West Bank,’ Palestinian Authority official says

Following their recent visit to Iran, leaders of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization, the second largest terror group in the Gaza Strip after Hamas, on Monday called for stepping up armed attacks against Israel.

Christianity is legal in Uganda but violent Islamic extremism has taken an increasing hold on the country.

New offline YouVersion Bible app launched for use in countries with poor internet access

Responding to the needs of Christians in parts of the world where it is difficult to access the internet, the developers of the popular YouVersion Bible app have launched a new version of it which can be used offline, Christianity Today (CT) reports. App developers from Life.Church in Oklahoma joined with the global Bible ministry Biblica in creating the offline YouVersion Bible App Lite.
